Hiring Notification: Procurement Engineer (Oil & Gas Sector)

UAE Based Location: United Arab Emirates

Position: Procurement Engineer

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Engineer with strong UAE-based experience. The ideal candidate must be currently residing in the UAE and possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Oil & Gas procurement, particularly on ADNOC and IRAQ projects

Key Responsibilities and Required Expertise:

The successful candidate must demonstrate proven experience and in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
  • Tendering & RFQ (Request for Quotation) Process
  • Bid Evaluation, Negotiation & Contract Awarding
  • Pre-qualification of Vendors & Contractors
  • Supplier Due Diligence & Performance Evaluation
  • Procurement Planning in Alignment with Project Timelines
  • Cost Control, Budget Monitoring, and Procurement Forecasting
  • Preparation and Review of Procurement Contracts
  • Compliance with Company and Regulatory Procurement Policies
  • Liaison with Engineering, Project, and QA/QC Teams
  • Hands-on experience with Oil & Gas materials, equipment, and services procurement

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• 6 to 9 years of direct, hands-on experience in Procurement & Sourcing specifically within the Oil & Gas industry

• At least 5 years of procurement experience in the UAE (mandatory)

• Strong familiarity with local vendors, suppliers, and market practices in the UAE

• Proven knowledge of ADNOC and IRAQ procurement processes, prequalification, and documentation standards

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline)

• OR an MBA in Supply Chain Management (added advantage)

• Equivalent qualifications may be considered based on relevant experience

Candidate Profile:

Strong knowledge of ADNOC Project and IRAQ Project

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple procurement packages under tight deadlines

Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong sense of accountability

Languages: Proficiency in English
