Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers that meet the project's technical and financial criteria.
- Evaluate supplier proposals based on quality, price, and delivery time to ensure the best value for the organization.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery conditions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and ensure purchase orders align with project requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations, addressing any issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by analyzing procurement processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and forecasts to management for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the procurement process.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing procurement insights that drive project success and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction industries is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems enhances efficiency and accuracy.
- Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills being a plus for global procurement.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and market trends are crucial.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs is essential.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
