Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Review material requisitions (MRs) for stock and project materials ensuring technical accuracy

  2. Evaluate material specifications, standards, and scope of supply as per project requirements

  3. Define and coordinate inspection requirements including in-house and third-party inspections (TPI)

  4. Inspect materials/equipment upon receipt to ensure compliance with specifications

  5. Liaise with engineering, QA/QC, vendors, and inspection agencies for smooth procurement execution

  6. Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and alignment with procurement standards and procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university

  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement / material engineering roles

  3. Strong experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical industry

  4. Hands-on experience in MR review, material specifications, and inspection coordination

  5. Good understanding of procurement processes and technical evaluation

  6. Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills
