Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare procurement plans and identify suitable vendors.
  • Issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices.
  • Coordinate technical review of vendor offers with engineering teams.
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries.
  • Ensure material quality and compliance with project specs.
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation.
  • Liaise with QA/QC for inspections and approvals.
  • Provide regular procurement status updates to project management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years procurement experience in engineering or construction projects
  • Registered member of Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE)
  • Skilled in vendor management, RFQ preparation, and contract negotiation
  • Proficient with procurement tools and quality standards
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
