Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering and construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure optimal agreements.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and project specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports for audit and tracking purposes.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations in all procurement activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or construction sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and project requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance with company and industry standards.
