Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the organization.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and conduct supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier performance.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, within the engineering or construction industry.
- Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
