Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering materials, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to define procurement requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and alternative products.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track orders, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an engineering or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and translate them into procurement requirements.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in procurement.
