Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and cost-saving targets, ensuring that all materials are sourced efficiently.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts that provide the best value for the company.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and requirements, ensuring that purchased materials meet project standards.
Manage supplier relationships effectively, monitoring performance and resolving issues to maintain continuity of supply and quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is essential for understanding technical requirements.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement within the engineering or construction sectors, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry-specific needs.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly preferred.
- Experience with procurement software and tools, including ERP systems, to streamline purchasing processes and improve efficiency.
