Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Support post-contract technical procurement activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and ELV packages across multiple projects.
Review MEP systems and equipment against project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and design intent.
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of technical submittals, compliance matrices, and vendor documentation.
Coordinate RFQs, technical evaluations, and vendor clarifications in line with project requirements.
Liaise with engineering, commissioning, commercial, and site teams to ensure technically compliant procurement.
Maintain and update procurement trackers, technical logs, and approval status records.
Support procurement package managers in order placement and documentation control.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely submission and approval of technical documents.
Ensure compliance with internal governance procedures and quality standards.
Assist in resolving technical queries related to MEP procurement packages.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
6-10 years’ experience in MEP engineering, technical procurement, or post-contract environments.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
Experience in preparing and reviewing technical submittals, compliance matrices, and gap analysis.
Familiar with post-contract procurement processes, RFQs, and vendor technical evaluations.
Previous exposure to MEP contracting or engineering consultancy environments preferred.
Middle East project experience is an advantage but not essential.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple procurement packages.
Strong coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office and procurement tracking systems.
