Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities covering both local sourcing and international procurement.

  • Review purchase requests, technical specifications, drawings, and datasheets prior to sourcing.

  • Prepare RFQs and obtain technical and commercial quotations from approved suppliers.

  • Identify evaluate and develop relationships with local and international suppliers.

  • Perform technical and commercial evaluation of supplier quotations.

  • Recommend suppliers based on quality compliance cost and delivery capability.

  • Negotiate pricing delivery terms payment terms and commercial conditions.

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved specifications and agreements.

  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure order confirmation and on time delivery.

  • Resolve supplier related issues including delivery delays specification clarification or order discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with engineering warehouse and requesting departments to ensure accurate procurement requirements.

  • Maintain procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures and ISO requirements.

  • Identify cost saving opportunities through alternative sourcing supplier negotiation or specification optimization.

  • Maintain and develop the approved supplier list for key materials and services.

  • Conduct supplier comparison and procurement analysis to support purchasing decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Strong knowledge of local and international procurement practices and supplier management.

  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.

  • Ability to analyze quotations compare total cost and make informed sourcing decisions.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner to meet deadlines.

  • Experience in identifying cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office email and internet.

  • Effective verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
