Procurement Engineer Spetco International Petroleum Co.

We are looking for candidates for the below position:

Procurement Engineer.

- Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors.
Maintaining approved suppliers list.
Processing requisitions by sending enquiries and receiving quotations.
Conducting technical review of offers with assistance from operations, if required
Supplier analysis and negotiations.
Creating comparisons and obtaining relevant approvals
Liaise between suppliers and projects on production capacities, readiness & material supply.
Working closely with vendors on shipment/delivery schedules and ensuring that all required shipping documents are prepared in accordance with customs requirements. Dealing with freight and clearance companies are required
Practicing material cost reduction on procured material.
Preparing and distributing reports as requested.

- Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in the oil and gas sector.
Proficiency in Purchasing / Negotiation / Strong Communication Skills / Honesty & Integrity / Organizational skills / Computer Skills.
Preferred bilingual female.
Based in Kuwait & Transferable residency.
