Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards across all purchased materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and warranty provisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to understand technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of procured materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management within the engineering sector.
Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly desirable.
Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or technology is preferred to ensure familiarity with relevant materials and processes.
