Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer (MEP) with solid experience and strong knowledge of MEP materials and systems to join our team.
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Source and procure MEP materials (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing systems) based on project requirements
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for accurate material selection
- Prepare and evaluate RFQs, quotations, and vendor proposals
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms
- Ensure materials meet project specifications and standards
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to site
- Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
More than 5 years of experience in procurement for MEP projects
Strong knowledge of MEP materials and suppliers in KSA market
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools
Strong analytical and organizational skills
