span>The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for engineering projects. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and working closely with project and engineering teams to support project execution and cost control.br> br>Key Responsibilities:br> br>Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliabilitybr> br>Prepare and issue purchase requests, purchase orders, and contractsbr> br>Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirementsbr> br>Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliersbr> br>Coordinate with engineering, project management, and quality teams for material specifications and approvalsbr> br>Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationshipsbr> br>Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issuesbr> br>Maintain accurate procurement records and documentationbr> br>Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting procurement needsbr> br>Support inventory management and coordinate with stores/warehouse teamsbr> br>Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsbr> br>Qualifications & Experience:br> br>Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldbr> br>Proven experience in procurement, preferably in engineering or construction industriesbr> br>Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement processesbr> br>Familiarity with technical specifications and engineering documentationbr> br>Excellent negotiation and communication skillsbr> br>Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications/span>
