Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant procurement experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for our projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies.
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value.
Collaborate with project teams to understand material and equipment requirements.
Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Review and verify supplier invoices and manage procurement documentation.
Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain supplier database.
Ensure procurement activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Resolve procurement issues related to delays, quality, or contracts.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and reporting.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for the efficient movement of materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain management.
Familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
Understanding of project specifications, engineering drawings, and technical requirements.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
