Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends, ensuring the organization remains competitive.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, focusing on securing favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals, emphasizing cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of materials.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, initiating corrective actions when necessary to maintain service and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement processes, minimizing risks associated with supplier contracts.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, showcasing savings achieved and opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and evaluation of new suppliers, conducting thorough due diligence to mitigate risks.
  • Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data analysis capabilities.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in the Manpower Supply industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPM, or APICS demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships, showcasing a history of successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems to drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous, particularly in regions with diverse supplier bases.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a focus on achieving results.
