Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Gather and Negotiate quotations from all various suppliers issuing RFQS, Tenders, and reverse auctions.
- Issue purchase orders to the appropriate suppliers.
- Search for new suppliers and evaluate supplier performance as per planned periodically.
- Ensure that material scheduling and processes are in place and work effectively.
- Supports bottlers in the development and implementation of short / medium / long term productivity initiatives to mitigate commodity inflations and currency devaluation to be able to deliver their P&L.
- Evaluate Capacity constraints in the short term and long term.
- Take ownership of material planning issues that arises.
- Ensure effective material planning implementation takes place relating to the changes.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time
- Make recommendations to minimize impacts and avoid crisis situations.
- Manage substitution in case of quality issues and Ensure adherence to the supply plan.
- Ensure availability of new components for launches with suppliers.
Desired Candidate Profile
ob Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering is preferable or having a degree in the supply chain.
- Previous experience (5Yrs: 6Yrs) in Purchasing, with a previous FMCG background.
- SAP user or any ERP system.
- English proficiency is a MUST.
- CPIM certificate is a plus.
- Sharkia residence is preferable.
- Excellent user of MS programs.
