Job Description

The role of a Procurement Executive is pivotal in managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities within an organization. As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices to bolster productivity and enhance profitability. You will work closely with vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms, and establishing longstanding, beneficial relationships. This role demands a keen eye for market trends, the ability to assess financial efficiency, and strong negotiation skills. A successful Procurement Executive will not only help reduce costs but also improve product quality and streamline the procurement process to align with the company's strategic goals. Being part of the operations team, you will have to collaborate with various departments to forecast demand and support the overall business strategy.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the company.
  • Assess supply chain risk and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor purchases and orders to ensure timely delivery and high quality standards.
  • Analyze market trends to assess innovation and potential new suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure adherence to contract terms and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications and coordinate demand forecasting.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, suppliers database, and related documents.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and purchasing best practices.
  • Manage supplier relationships to secure continuous supply of goods and services.
  • Enhance supplier sourcing practices through thorough research and market analysis initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a procurement role, preferably as a Procurement Executive.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on value and efficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement regulations.
