Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Description:
As a Purchasing/Procurement Graduate, you ll support the full purchasing cycle - from sourcing and vendor selection to PO creation, delivery follow-up, and invoice reconciliation. You ll work with Vendors, Finance, and Operations to secure the right quality at the best total cost while keeping records, timelines, and compliance tight.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & RFQs: Find suppliers, request and compare quotes, summarize options, and suggest a shortlist.
- Vendor onboarding: Collect required documents, do basic checks, and keep the supplier list up to date.
- PO management: Turn approved requests into purchase orders, confirm prices, and keep delivery dates updated.
- Contracts: Help draft or renew agreements and track key terms and expiry dates.
- Expediting & delivery: Follow up on orders, fix delays or shortages, and coordinate with the warehouse for receiving.
- Cost tracking: Keep price lists updated, track changes, and record savings.
- Reports: Create simple reports or dashboards on spend and timelines.
- Systems & compliance: Update records in the ERP, follow policies, and support audits and supplier reviews.
- Stakeholder coordination: Align with requesters on requirements and with Quality/Operations on what to accept.
