Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create accurate demand forecasts based on sales trends, seasonality, historical data, and market movement
- Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring no over-stocking or under-stocking
- Achieve and continuously improve inventory turnover ratios
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving SKUs and recommend corrective actions
- Track raw material and product pricing trends to support supplier negotiations
- Coordinate with suppliers to place timely purchase orders, especially for overseas sourcing
- Manage procurement lead times and ensure uninterrupted supply
- Work closely with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to align forecasts and procurement plans
- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records in ERP (ODOO preferred)
- Prepare regular reports on stock health, forecasts, procurement status, and risks
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements within procurement and inventory planning
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory planning
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory control
- Good understanding of stock turnover ratios and inventory KPIs
- Ability to analyze pricing trends and negotiate with suppliers
- Experience handling overseas suppliers and international lead times
- Proficient in ERP systems (ODOO experience preferred) and Excel
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven mindset
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or trading environment is a plus
