Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Analysis of internal needs.  

  • Gather the requirements for materials, products or services from the different departments.
  • assess the quantities needed and define the supply priorities.

Supplier research and selection

  • Identify and qualify new suppliers.
  • Compare the offers (price, quality, delivery time, conditions).
  • Participate in the ongoing evaluation of existing suppliers.

Purchase negotiation

  • Negotiate prices, contractual conditions and delivery times.
  • Obtain the best purchasing conditions while respecting budgetary constraints.

Order management

  • submit purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Ensure order tracking until receipt.
  • Update the information systems (ERP).

Logistics tracking and delivery management

  • Coordinate transport and delivery times with suppliers and carriers.
  • Verify the conformity of deliveries (quantity, quality, documentation).
  • Managing disputes or delivery delays.

Inventory management and optimization

  • Control stock levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
  • Contribute to supply planning.
  • Implement improvement actions (cost reduction, flow optimization).

Reporting and monitoring

  • Monitor performance indicators (costs, delays, supplier reliability).
  • Monitor market trends and price changes.
  • To raise awareness of the risks associated with disruptions or price increases.
