Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will oversee the company's sourcing and purchasing strategies. This senior role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, from strategic supplier selection and contract negotiation to inventory management. The goal is to optimize costs, ensure product quality, and secure a reliable supply chain for our imported goods.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute comprehensive procurement and sourcing strategies that align with company goals.


Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team (including Procurement Officers).


Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key international and local suppliers.


Negotiate major contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.


Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and new product sourcing.


Oversee the entire purchasing process, including order placement, shipment tracking, and import logistics.


Collaborate with the sales and warehouse departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.


Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and import regulations.


Prepare and present procurement budgets, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.


Qualifications and Requirements:


Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.


Extensive experience in the FMCG, F&B, or import/distribution industry is mandatory.


Proven track record of successful negotiation with international suppliers.


Strong leadership and team management skills.


Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.


In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, import procedures, and market analysis.


Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
