Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support production and operational goals.
  • Manage sourcing of raw materials from local and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure best value and consistent supply.
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with design, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, supplier evaluations, and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in the sourcing process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the textiles, rugs, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of global sourcing, supplier evaluation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with customs, import procedures, and regulatory compliance for international purchases.
  • Proficiency in ERP/procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
