Roles & Responsibilities

Geoharbour is a leading international specialist in geotechnical engineering, foundation construction, and ground improvement solutions, with operations across the Middle East and Asia. We deliver high-quality, technically advanced, and cost-efficient foundation works for major infrastructure, industrial, and marine projects.

The Procurement Manager will lead the overall procurement and supply chain functions across the Middle East region. The role requires a strategic, hands-on professional with strong negotiation skills, technical understanding of construction materials and equipment, and the ability to manage multiple project requirements efficiently.


Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.


Develop, implement, and monitor procurement strategies aligned with company and project objectives.

Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Oversee all purchase requisitions, RFQs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders.

Collaborate with Project, Technical, Finance, and Admin teams to ensure timely and accurate material procurement.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Procurement team, ensuring adherence to company procedures and approval matrices.

Maintain a comprehensive vendor database and conduct regular performance assessments.

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization.

Ensure compliance with procurement ethics, company policies, and local regulations.

Prepare regular reports on procurement status, cost control, and supplier performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in same position, in construction or geotechnical engineering within the UAE or GCC.

Strong background in materials, equipment, and vendor management for civil and foundation projects.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Procurement systems (experience in Feishu/OA system is an advantage).

Fluency in English is required; Arabic or Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Preferably available in the UAE and can join immediately or within a short notice.
