Position Overview

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is hiring a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing operations and ensure high standards of cost efficiency, supplier quality, and timely procurement across all departments. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who combine strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of hospitality procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for all hotel departments, ensuring alignment with Marriott International standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve optimal value and service quality.
  • Oversee supplier evaluation, selection, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure timely purchasing of goods and services to support hotel operations.
  • Monitor stock levels, approve purchase orders, and manage cost-control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Supervise and mentor purchasing staff, encouraging teamwork and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review procurement reports and budget forecasts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of procurement or purchasing management experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems and financial documentation.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
