Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for interior fit-out projects.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and project-related requirements.

  • Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements.

  • Prepare and issue RFQs, compare quotations, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract terms.

  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project schedules.

  • Maintain strong relationships with local UAE suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, design teams, quantity surveyors, and finance departments.

  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Ensure all materials meet approved specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

  • Manage supplier performance, resolve procurement issues, and maintain updated vendor records.

  • Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, purchase orders, and related documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably within the interior fit-out industry.

  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, furniture, MEP-related items, and supplier networks in the UAE.

  • Proven experience in vendor negotiation, cost control, and procurement planning.

  • Ability to read and understand BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Strong network of UAE-based suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/procurement systems, and reporting tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Experience working with interior fit-out contractors or design-and-build companies.

  2. Knowledge of luxury residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, or F&B fit-out projects.

  3. Familiarity with UAE market pricing and supplier lead times.

  4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
