Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and manage purchasing of raw materials (ingredients), packaging, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies, and services.
- Ensure best value purchasing balancing quality, price, and availability.
- Track industry pricing trends and cost drivers (commodities, logistics, seasonal factors).
- Work with operations, production planning, and logistics to forecast needs.
- Optimize inventory levels to reduce waste, spoilage, and holding costs.
- Support just-in-time (JIT) or lean supply strategies where applicable.
- Produce KPIs (cost savings, delivery performance, inventory turnover).
- Analyze procurement data for improvement opportunities.
- Lead supplier rationalization, risk mitigation, and process automation.
Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years in procurement or supply chain (F&B experience or Hotels is must).
- Experience negotiating large supplier contracts.
- Prior work in hospitality, food and beverage or hotels.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- very good spoken and written English.
