Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors within KSA and internationally.

Establish annual procurement plans in coordination with the project and engineering teams.

2. Sourcing & Supplier Management

Maintain and expand a qualified supplier database for MEP materials and equipment.

Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price competitiveness, and service reliability.

3. Tendering & Contracts

Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) and RFPs (Request for Proposals) for materials and subcontract works.

Analyze bids, prepare comparative statements, and recommend the best commercial and technical offers.

Review and finalize supplier contracts ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

4. Cost & Budget Control

Monitor procurement costs and ensure purchases are within approved budgets.

Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and safety.

5. Coordination & Compliance

Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance departments for seamless procurement processes.

Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, KSA regulations, and project specifications.

Manage import/export processes and customs clearance when required.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier contracts.

Prepare periodic procurement reports for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering,
  • Minimum 8 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in MEP projects.
  • Proven track record of procurement management in KSA and strong knowledge of the local supplier market.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
