Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.

Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives and foster a high-performance culture.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and ensure a reliable supply chain.

Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, logistics, and finance, to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.

Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain quality standards.

Prepare and manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and report on cost-saving initiatives.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 6 years and maximum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Proven experience in managing procurement operations within a fast-paced, large-scale organization.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience supervising procurement professionals.

In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market analysis, and supplier evaluation techniques.

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder and supplier engagement.

Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.
