  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Procurement department plans to ensure alignment with Dallah s overall objectives and business plans.
  • Participates in the development of Procurement department policies, and procedures and ensures implementation of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the Procurement department by facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Procurement unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
  • Prepares the Procurement unit budget and ensures that the activity within this unit is implemented processed as per the assigned budget
  • Manages the effective achievement of department objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff to maximize subordinates performance.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.
  • Examine applications resulting from major Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Implements improvements to existing methods of procurement to ensure best practice is introduced to the procurement activities.
