Procurement Manager (Riyadh) Omnium International Limited

About the role

Omnium International is supporting the delivery of a landmark giga-project in Riyadh and we re looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team, working on an exclusive secondment to the client's office in Riyadh.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage key aspects of the procurement process, from strategic sourcing and market analysis to tender document preparation and evaluation.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with project timelines and budgetary requirements.
• Conduct and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process, including preparing tender packs, managing bid clarifications, and evaluating submissions.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of best-practice procurement procedures and policies.
• Oversee supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and project standards.
• Assist the Procurement Director in developing the overall procurement strategy and provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in procurement, with a strong background in the construction or real estate sectors.
• Demonstrable experience managing procurement for large-scale, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, legal frameworks, and contract management in the construction industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
• Recent experience in the Riyadh market is highly desirable.

Qualifications, Skills and Training:

• A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are highly desirable.

Hours:

48 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday.
