Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Procurement process management

  • Support the full procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) and obtaining quotes;
  • Review and process purchasing requests from multiple departments;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on procurement strategies and timelines;
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding and creation in SAP;
  • Monitor specific payment terms and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices;
  • Provide administrative and technical support to teams, including document management and SAP navigation for internal teams.

Supplier management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery;
  • Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluation and audits to ensure compliance with terms and expectations;
  • Address and resolve supplier issues, disputes, and performance-related concerns;
  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with contractual terms;
  • Proactively manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations;
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure alignment with organizational needs and legal standards.

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance;
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements;
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.

Budgeting and reporting

  • Assist in budget planning related to procurement activities;
  • Prepare reports and analyze procurement and contract data, including spend analysis, savings, and contract compliance;
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve procurement efficiency and cost savings.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within procurement, sourcing, or supply chain functions.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes end-to-end.
  • Prior experience working in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.

Skills and competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and ERP systems; experience with e-procurement platforms is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier evaluation, tendering processes, and contract administration.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial acumen.
  • Solid negotiation, persuasion, and contract management skills.
