Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends to identify new products and optimize purchasing strategies.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Collaboration: Work with internal departments (e.g., finance, legal) to align purchasing needs with budget and operational requirements.
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and maintain strong relationships.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to secure best value.
Purchasing Operations:
Process purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and track deliveries.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar.
- Has extensive experience (15+ years) in procurement, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of global markets, supply chain dynamics, and international trade.
