Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- A must be comfortable interacting with suppliers to secure the lowest cost and best deal possible for their company.
- Building and maintaining relationships is key to supplier management. should ensure a high level of respect and trust between their company and their suppliers.
- Must be able to analyze data and market trends to find potential cost savings, process optimization opportunities, and possible risk areas.
- Help the C-suite make more informed decisions. To do so, however, they must know how to effectively communicate the needs of the business and navigate difficult conversations regarding budget.
- Take action to protect the business and its finances while meeting stakeholders expectations When a disruptive event occurs (internally or externally).
- Pinpoint the best mix of products and services that will effectively support the business s success.
- Handle cost management, forecasting, data analysis, and report building to make informed, cost-effective procurement decisions and better comply with various regulations.
- Ensure robust, risk-free procurement processes by reviewing documentation and managing contracts to identify any errors as well as create in-depth documentation and perform data analysis.
Desired Candidate Profile
- The ability to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing effectively is crucial.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant filed.
- 2:5 years experience in procurement preferably to have a relevant experience in facility management field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for liaising with vendors, team members, and stakeholders.
- strong analytical skills to assess market intelligence, commodity trends, and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency with procurement software (like SAP or Oracle) and general office suites (like Microsoft Office) is expected.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and ensuring vendor compliance is a key requirement.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines is essential for success.
- The ability to identify and evaluate potential suppliers to develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Researching and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and cost drivers to inform sourcing decisions.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks in the procurement process, such as supplier issues or market volatility.
- Utilizing data to evaluate supplier performance, track costs, and make informed decisions to optimize processes.
- Understanding financial concepts like budgeting, cost savings, and return on investment to manage procurement expenditures effectively.
