Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute effective purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Maintain approved vendor lists and build long-term supplier relationships.
  • Analyze purchase requisitions and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct market research and benchmark supplier pricing to ensure cost competitiveness.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement reports, contracts, and documentation according to company policy.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate budgeting and payment processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain and cost reduction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and audit requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2 4 years of hands-on experience in procurement, preferably within the fashion, textile, or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing cycles, vendor management, and cost control techniques.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and build sustainable supplier partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination skills with cross-functional departments (Finance, Production, and Logistics).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and import/local sourcing dynamics.
