Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, equipment, and services. Maintain cost efficiency, supplier quality, and compliance with procurement policies to support organizational operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute purchasing activities including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier communication.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; monitor supplier performance.
- Ensure correct versioning, proper labeling, and distribution of revised documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions to optimize cost and quality.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases.
- Coordinate with warehouse, stores, and end-users to ensure material availability.
- Ensure procured goods meet required specifications and resolve non-compliance issues.
- Support budget planning, track procurement costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct supplier audits, performance assessments, and maintain approved supplier lists.
- Liaise with finance, operations, stores, and project teams for procurement requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, cost analyses, and performance metrics.
- Recommend and implement improvements to procurement processes, systems, and workflows.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
