Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for efficiently executing purchasing activities to ensure the availability of required materials and services in accordance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.This role involves managing supplier relationships, monitoring contracts, and ensuring compliance with the company s procurement policies and procedures.
Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is preferred).

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify procurement needs from different departments and ensure timely availability of materials and services
  • Research, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), analyze bids, and select the most suitable suppliers
  • Create and manage purchase orders and follow up until goods or services are received
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and established standards
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchase orders, supplier performance, and inventory levels
  • Coordinate with the finance department to process invoices and supplier payments
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and continuously improve procurement processes

  • Experience in preparing and managing purchase orders and contracts
