Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the full procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will play a key role in optimizing costs, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning: Analyze purchasing needs, prepare procurement plans, and ensure timely sourcing of goods and services.
Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.
Order & Contract Management: Issue purchase orders, manage procurement contracts, and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory & Supply Monitoring: Collaborate with the Warehouse team to monitor stock levels and anticipate replenishment needs.
Supplier Performance Management: Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Cost Optimization & Reporting: Conduct cost analysis, identify savings opportunities, and prepare regular procurement performance reports.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: At least 4 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on local supplier management.
Skills:
o Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
o Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
