Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials (local & foreign).
  • Oversee both direct and indirect purchasing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate closely with production, planning, inventory, and finance teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier risks, and recommend cost-saving and improvement initiatives.
  • Support and guide procurement team members, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably within plastics, packaging, or similar industries.
  • Strong exposure to local and international sourcing.
  • Experience supervising or leading procurement activities is highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience in Packaging, Plastics, Manufacturing, or FMCG is a strong advantage.
