Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day strong>procurement activities/strong>, including sourcing, negotiations, purchasing, and order follow-up.

Develop and maintain a reliable strong>supplier and vendor base/strong>, locally and internationally.

Negotiate strong>pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, lead times, and contractual conditions/strong>.

Coordinate strong>customs clearance activities/strong> with brokers, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

Handle procurement and logistics processes related to strong>free zones/strong>, including inward/outward movements and related documentation.

Ensure availability of materials in line with production and operational requirements.

Monitor procurement costs, landed cost calculations, and budget adherence.

Track purchase orders from placement to delivery, proactively resolving delays and customs-related issues.

Coordinate closely with strong>production, planning, warehouse, finance, and logistics/strong> teams.

Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, compliance).

Identify and mitigate strong>supply risks/strong>, shortages, and regulatory delays.

Maintain accurate procurement, customs, and logistics records.

Support inventory optimization and stock level control.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in strong>Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field/strong>.

strong>Minimum 3 years/strong> of experience in strong>procurement and supply chain/strong>, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Practical experience dealing with strong>customs clearance procedures and documentation/strong>.

Exposure to strong>free zone operations/strong> is a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of strong>procurement cycles, landed cost, and logistics coordination/strong>.

Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.

Experience working with strong>ERP systems/strong> and procurement platforms.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Perfect command of strong>English/strong> (written and spoken).
