Procurement Manager (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize our procurement processes. This remote role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, and developing strategies to support the company's operations while maintaining cost efficiency and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute tailored procurement strategies to meet the unique needs and challenges of the industry.

• Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring smooth operations despite potential disruptions.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all materials and services procured meet industry quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Cost Optimization: Monitor procurement costs, seeking opportunities to optimize spending without compromising quality.

• Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to understand specialized requirements for equipment and materials.

• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, particularly for critical spare parts, ensuring efficient management to support operations.

• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries, particularly to remote sites.

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements to ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (CSCP, CPM) is a plus.

Skills Desired:

• Proven experience in procurement and supplier management.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently.

• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
