Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure the best value.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to forecast procurement needs.
- Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternative sources.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice disputes.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- An Engineering Degree is a Must (Civil / Arch)
- + 6 years of experience in procurement in the construction/fit-out industries
- Proven experience in fitout and mixed-use projects is a Must
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
