Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the owner and conduit within the PDM team for product setup and implementation of product changes based upon collaboration with Product Development, Merchandising, Site Merchandising and other business teams.
- Supports PLM functions and provides guidance, troubleshooting, enhancement recommendations, and user guide developments.
- Support business teams executing seasonal catalogs, promotions and other sales and marketing activity.
- Directly supervises daily activities, projects, tasks, and goals related to product setup and management.
- Manages product data and changes within the PIM, MCP, Oracle and other internal applications to ensure proper data quality and data interconnections for product-level marketability and performance reporting.
- Manages processes and communication check-ins to ensure merchandising product accuracy across internal applications for assigned products, channels, etc. Functions include:
- Accurate and complete product data setup
- Management and support of linked bill of materials and inventory data.
- Product status changes, (e.g., disables, clearance, last call, low stock, etc.

- Supports the merchandising calendar for PLM actions and ensures multiple seasonal or promotional calendar deadlines are met.
- Serves as the liaison between merchandising, sales, product development, sourcing, and onsite marketing teams to coordinate inputs, and investigate and resolve product and related merchandising challenges.
- Participates in the development of departmental policies and operating practices.
- Other duties and assignments as directed by the Director, Global Product Data Management and/or Merchandising leadership.
Required skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge in a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) methodology and systems.
- Product data management experience, product life-cycle management, or promotional product knowledge of at least 2 years.
- Demonstrated people management skills and experience in addressing interpersonal conflicts.
- Proficiency in MCP, Oracle EBS and PDM/PLM related internal applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent process management and digital workflow skills.
- Solid understanding of technology and how systems interact.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent English Level; both spoken and written.
- Accountable and able to manage projects individually and work will as part of a team.
- Team player, comfortable building effective relationships with business partners.
- Goal orientated; ability to stay focused on delivering results.
- Self-starter with proven experience in delivering results to an organization.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile
Overview of Role:
The PDM Supervisor, Global Product Data Management will use his/her strong technical background and knowledge of current company product practices and procedures to primarily ensure the successful setup and management of all products through product lifecycles stages. Specifically, he/she will support the work of the Product Development, Merchandising, and Site Merchandising teams to ensure that any given product is successfully progressed through each product lifecycle stage Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline and Deactivation. Each product s data attributes, bill of materials, and marketable status should be current and accurately reflected via internal apps, onsite and other marketing platforms. In addition, this position will directly supervise other PDM team members and help facilitate tasks across cross-functional teams or departments. This person will collaborate across all teams to ensure a seamless exchange and management of product data and the overall internal user experience.
