Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Interior Furniture Designer Lead the furniture design and development of innovative furniture and home accessory products from concept through production.
  • furniture designer must be Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market trends.
  • The Product furniture designer should Conduct research on materials, technologies, and industry trends to inform product development and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Innovate and Create designing detailed interior furniture 2D&3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes using Designing software.
  • Evaluate and test prototypes, analyze performance and make necessary design modifications.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Support the transition of new products from design to manufacturing, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • The Research and development furniture designer must have deep knowledge for all types of Wood, Metal and accessories.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
    Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Product Design, interior design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in product design and development, preferably within the furniture or home accessories sector.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience in research and development (R&D) environments.
  • Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
