Role Overview:

You will be joining a startup that is changing the way Arabic speaking students learn

outside the classroom, and witnessing the thrill of building a hyper-growth tech company.

As we work towards this mission, Abwaab is looking for a talented, passionate, impact driven, growth mindset, high performer, well organized candidate, that pays very close attention to detail who will take the lead on building a world class product.

The role and responsibility of a Product Manager is to ensure the overall wellness of the product they manage and its growth, starting with innovation and leading design to monitoring related metrics and A/B testing, and everything in between. The direct reporting line is to the Product Director and the work is mostly done in collaboration with two parties; the related POD who handles the tech work and the business team who handle the user growth, feedback and content.

Responsibilities:

Immediate activities:

• Help establish core processes for product team
• Help setup the tools and workspaces for product team
• Assist in setting up initial references (roadmap, vision, strategy)
• Work on creating a dashboard that communicates the overall health of your product (data mining, metrics, funnel)

Role highlights:

• Responsible for setting your product's vision and strategy
• Work closely with the engineering team to innovate, design, and build a product that our students love
• Define the requirements for each product update and the desired user experience
• Own your numbers, build your dashboard, and monitor the performance of your product very closely.
• Be data obsessed; monitor student behavior very closely, and make decisions based on that.
• Work closely with the data team on capturing all required data points needed for the product.
• Iterate, and continuously develop the product to optimize for student adoption
• Cross-functional leadership; work with all relevant cross functions (engineering, marketing, sales, content and support teams)
• Manage the inflow of product ideas and feedback, evaluate and prioritize them into product roadmap
• Remain updated about the latest development with similar products of competitors both regionally and globally
• Be very close to our students, it's part of our DNA. Run focus groups, phone calls, surveys or anything that empowers you to build the best product that students love.
