We are looking for a dedicated and strategic Software Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product vision is translated into actionable tasks and deliverables, ultimately driving the success of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the product vision and roadmap.
• Requirement Gathering: Gather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders, users, and market research to inform product development.
• User Stories: Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide the development team.
• Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning to ensure that the highest priority items are being worked on.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
• Product Development: Oversee the product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring that the product meets quality standards and business goals.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze user feedback to inform future product enhancements and iterations.
• Performance Monitoring: Track product performance metrics and KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize product outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management or as a product owner in a software development environment.
• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
• Market Knowledge: Experience in the [industry-specific knowledge relevant to your company, e.g., fintech, healthcare, SaaS].
• UX/UI: Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Data Analytics: Proficiency with data analytics tools and techniques.
