Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Product Engineering:

Draft detailed technical and functional specifications for telecom products (messaging, data, interconnection) across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.

Design and implement solutions based on telecom protocols (SMPP, MAP, WebRTC, SIP, Diameter, HTTPv2, etc.).

Lead internal acceptance (QA) testing and coordinate between development and integration teams.

Conduct performance, interoperability, and load testing.

Write and maintain technical and commercial documentation (product descriptions and user guides).

Presales:

Participate in presales phases alongside the sales team.

Gather and analyze clients and partners technical requirements.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations and solution demonstrations.

Draft technical responses to tenders (RFI/RFP/RFQ).

Propose appropriate architectures.

Conduct technology watch and produce product positioning materials.

Required Technical Skills

Excellent knowledge of mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) and telecom network architectures.

Proficiency in protocols: SMPP, MAP, WebRTC, SIP, Diameter, SS7, HTTPv2.

Good knowledge of Linux environments and network tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.).

Experience in real-time and high-availability solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Proven experience (3+ years) in telecom engineering or at an operator.

Ability to simplify and present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Professional English (spoken and written).

Additional Assets

Knowledge of telecom network security.

Experience with Cloud / NFV / SDN environments.

Familiarity with additional protocols (CAMEL, SIP, ENUM, Radius, etc.).
