Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quality Reference reports to the Product/Process Quality Pilot within the Product/Process Quality department of the Quality/Compliance/Safety management. He is responsible for verifying products/processes at the different stages of their processing, ensuring that each phase meets the defined requirements.

Main tasks:

  • Verify, by sampling, the conformity of parts, equipment and products to customer, regulatory and internal requirements in the different control phases (receipt, WIP and final),
  • Verify by sampling that each visit file (or maintenance file) is complete, accurate and compliant with customer requirements and regulations.
  • Report any risk (Quality/SMS detection) for anticipation and treatment
  • Identify non-conformities in the field and support operational staff in resolving identified quality gaps.
  • Operationally verify the quality of workshops and support trades by ensuring that standards are met, particularly with regard to:
  • Traceability of parts and operations.
  • Staff competence.
  • Work environment (cleanliness, organization, safety).
  • Documentation (procedures, reports, certificates, visit files).
  • Actively participate in the industrialization of MRO operations
  • Verify that the tools, equipment and work environments comply with quality requirements and standards.
  • Ensure that all inspections, tests and repairs are documented and traceable.
  • To support final checks before product delivery to the customer or commissioning, and to report any detected anomalies in real time to management.
  • Verify that changes or changes to approved data are authorized and documented.
  • Participate in acceptance/rejection decisions and escalate if necessary
  • Maintaining independence from production

Desired Candidate Profile

Key skills required:

Formation :

  • Engineering degree in industrial, mechanical or aeronautical engineering with initial experience in the industrial sector
  • Or
  • Technician with more than 3 years of experience in quality, production or engineering, preferably in the industrial sector (aeronautics, automotive, etc.)

Technique :

  • Ability to identify the root causes of non-conformities and propose sustainable solutions
  • Rigorous documentation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Knowledge of quality standards (Part-145, EN 9100)

Soft skills :

  • Independence of mind and integrity
  • Team spirit to collaborate with the production, methods and logistics departments
  • Adaptability
  • Sense of communication and listening
