Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the in-store expert on all bike products, including road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, kids' bikes, and cycling accessories.

  • Assist customers in selecting the right bike and accessories based on usage, fit, skill level, and budget.

  • Provide basic technical advice, sizing recommendations, and product comparisons.

  • Support the sales team with in-depth product training and regular knowledge sharing.

  • Work closely with the merchandising and category teams to ensure optimal product presentation and stock levels.

  • Conduct product demos and assist during in-store events or activations related to the biking category.

  • Stay updated on the latest biking trends, technologies, and product launches.

  • Monitor customer feedback to inform product selection and improvements.

  • Ensure accurate and appealing visual merchandising of bikes and related products in line with brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure bikes are properly assembled, tuned, and displayed.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma or certification in sports science, mechanics, or a related field is a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or a bike shop environment, preferably with biking product specialization.

  • Passion for cycling and strong personal knowledge of bike types, brands, and components.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to explain technical product details in a clear and engaging way.

  • Familiarity with fitting techniques and cycling ergonomics is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of bike maintenance and repair is an advantage.
