Product Specialist

The main goal of a Product Specialist is to communicate the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

Must be able to handle the following day-to-day duties:

• Present, promote, demonstrate and sell products/services using efficient sales strategy to existing and prospective customers

• Form and deliver presentations to the customer needs

• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

• Reach out to customer leads through regular visit

• Setting up sales goals and strategies to achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

• Supply management with reports on customer needs, concerns, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

• Keep well-informed of best practices and promotional trends in the market

• Continuously improve through feedback

• Organizing Associated events including CME’s
